The Leflore FCCLA Chapter has been very active this year. The officers attended our Officer Leadership Training meeting in McAlester, OK September 14^th. Here we interacted with other officers in our district to gain leadership skills. We raised $2,832.50 selling Rada Cutlery; we are also conducting our annual food drive for the Leflore and Summerfield Community centers; we are selling Jack Link’s jerky and plan on selling cookie dough later on in the year. We would like to say a special Thank you to all of you who support our student organization.

The Leflore FCCLA officers & members have the opportunity to attend the National Cluster Meeting in Atlanta, Georgia on November 18^th-20^th, 2011. The Cluster meeting is a youth work shop where the members can explore opportunities for personal development, gain ideas for shaping future careers, and discover great ways to use FCCLA national programs in our own chapters.

We are asking for donations to fund this trip. It will be applied to the registration fees for the conference, hotel fees, gas & food.
