LeFlore School is pleased to announce it has received a $4,792.64 grant from the Carolyn Watson Rural Oklahoma Community Foundation to provide a STEM lab. The grant is part of the Classroom Enhancement Program that supports activities and programs at select schools in rural Oklahoma that will improve the classroom experience for students.
The funds will be used to purchase LEGO MINDSTORM Education EV3 robotics.
Students in grades 5th – 9th will have the opportunity to design, build, test, and trouble-shoot, robotics while developing skills in problem-solving and communication.
